Welcome to Gracehill College - a boutique school in the Garden Route
Gracehill College, a thriving Christian school in the heart of George, established in January 2019, to offer families an alternative approach to education. One that prioritises relationships, small class sizes, and meaningful learning experiences in a caring environment, with a warm family atmosphere.
We believe that education is not only about academic achievement, but also about shaping character, confidence, and a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.
We are proud to offer a continuous, values-driven educational journey for families, guiding children all the way from early childhood development through to High School.
We intentionally limit our class sizes to a maximum of 18 pupils in our Junior Primary phase and 20 pupils in our Senior Primary phase. We keep our classes small because we believe that our dedicated teachers can only bring out the absolute best in a child when they truly know their individual strengths and learning pace.
Our focus is on developing the learner holistically: academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our main goal is to equip our learners with enduring ethical values and scriptural truth. We want to cultivate an inner desire in every child to act with integrity, fairness, and kindness. Ultimately, we aim to raise confident, compassionate young men and women who celebrate their unique talents, and step out into the world ready to bless their communities. Our Educational Philosophy
Our academic framework is deeply rooted in the principles established by British educationalist Charlotte Mason. She famously viewed education not as a mechanical assembly line, but as an “abundant feast for the mind.” This means we prioritize a broad, intellectually stimulating curriculum that feeds a child's natural curiosity over rigid, high-stakes testing.
We love blending time-tested educational foundations with modern, practical living. We also fully embrace modern digital literacy and technological skills, yet we frequently step away from desks to use the natural outdoor world as our active classroom.
